Marciano has some ahem, white hot picks for summer this season with a collection of tops, shoes, bottoms, dresses and accessories all in purest virginal white. Some picks also come in other colours, usually a pale pink. The majority of the collection feature the Elena Eyelet pattern, which is a very lady-like eyelet pattern perfect for spring. Though white is normally not thought to be as flattering to one's curves as black, white can be a stunning color choice if chosen carefully: steer clear of boxy shapes on tops or overly flared pant legs and opt instead for narrower cuts that create a leaner line. Also, choose white tops that have textural or structural details, like the Elena Eyelets, to avoid visual boredom. A white top and a white pant can look great together, but pair them with some colorful accessories like a bright scarf, or a chunky gold cuff, and you can take a great outfit to sublime. The only downside of all this purity is keeping it pure; white is certainly the toughest color to keep clean, so I suggest wearing these outfits only during the least strenous of activities (to prevent sweat stainage, ick) and out of the range of anyone under the age of 12. Bleach is your friend ladies.

These cotton and spandex denim jeans are a great pick because white jeans are a perennial favourite of summer. Choosing a bootleg cut is also a good classic choice that is slimming and lengthening. I'm not a big fan of the high-waisted and flared pant trend, so these pants are a definite thumbs-up for me.

This sweet peasant top is given a little sexiness with its off the shoulder cap sleeves. I also really like the shade of lipstick the model is wearing.
